Rick Ingber
VantaHealth Consulting
President
Rick Ingber is a nationally recognized leader and financial
consultant in the health care industry. With over 25 years of
practice and specializing in the home health and hospice
marketplace, Rick currently serves as President of VantaHealth
Consulting, LLC.
Prior to joining ZA Consulting and its spin off VantaHealth
Consulting, Rick founded and served as President of Healthcare
Financial Systems, Inc. (HFS) for eighteen years. As
President, Rick built HFS into a nationally recognized organization,
serving over two hundred home health and hospice providers,
including national chain organizations, large and small Visiting
Nurse Associations as well as individual proprietary agencies.
Earlier in his
career, Rick served as the Director of Financial and Administrative
Services for the largest home health agency in
Pennsylvania
As the President of VantaHealth Consulting, Rick has
increased the breadth and depth of his practice while continuing to
serve his home health and hospice clients. Utilizing
his extensive experience and expertise within the health care
marketplace, along with The Analyzer©, an exciting
software tool developed by VantaHealth Technologies, Rick provides
Home Health providers the ability to implement proactive
organizational changes and maximize their profits under the
Prospective Payment System.
Franklin and Marshall College awarded Rick a BA degree in
Accounting with highest honors and he received his Masters in
Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business,
University of Pennsylvania, where he majored in Operations
Management.
Anita Slocum
Consultant
Anita Slocum is a
Senior Consultant with VantaHealth Consulting and has over 20 years
of experience in the health care industry. Prior to joining VantaHealth
Consulting, Anita supervised various financial and special projects
at Independence Blue Cross, a large health care insurer and former
Fiscal Intermediary.
Her responsibilities included managing staff and department
performance, coordinating compliance, reviewing government auditing
standards, and negotiated cost report settlements. Anita also held
the position of senior accountant, performed internal quality
control audit reviews and developed new and innovative home health
agency audit programs.
Anita’s extensive
knowledge of health insurance and the health care environment
provides VantaHealth Consulting with a unique understanding and
advantage in the marketplace. Anita manages various consulting
assignments and demonstrates a high level of expertise in optimizing
PPS reimbursement for home health agencies, hospices, outpatient
therapy providers and skilled nursing facilities. Anita has also
managed budget and operational planning and analysis, audit and
Medicare appeals and was instrumental in developing corporate
diversification, merger and restructuring for multiple clients.
Anita conducted
numerous internal and external training sessions related to Medicare
reimbursement and participated in both corporate-wide and
departmental Quality Management programs.
Anita
earned a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in accounting, from
Drexel University. |
